Removing the Existing Carpet Tiles and Metal Trims
Before installing the new flooring, we uplifted and disposed of the old carpet tiles.

Once the existing flooring had been removed and the area prepared, we installed the replacement carpet tiles using carpet tackifier adhesive.
Unlike a permanent flooring adhesive, tackifier helps keep carpet tiles securely positioned while allowing individual tiles to be lifted and replaced more easily if required in the future.
Checkerboard Carpet Tile Installation
The Heckmondwike Broadrib tiles were fitted in a checkerboard pattern to recreate the appearance of the original installation.
Matching the existing brand, style and colour was an important part of the project. Rather than introducing a completely different flooring finish, the completed room now blends naturally with the carpeted areas elsewhere within Eastgate Church.
